Tammuz organization for social development has
continue its observing of different media ways in Iraq through net Media
observers in Baghdad and governorates and the duration was from 7 August until
14/August/2008 , And the
organization has monitored (67) and the media were most prominent in the
follow-up of the electoral process, and an inventory report provided the names
of the media that were written on the subject of provincial council elections in
Iraq, and shown in the report, following the declaration of Independent Higher
Electoral Commission to extend the registration period from Saturday, 16 / 8 and
held until next Thursday, 21/8/2008, in order to make way for those who have not
been able to review the registration centers during the previous period.
Moreover, media attention that declaration, where it was covered by a large
number of media. With continued ads urging citizens and encourage them to review
the media, television and in local newspapers, also continued the media to
follow up a number of issues concerning the electoral process, including:
provincial council elections law, provincial council elections law in the
