Participating in the high dependant commission for election sitting             

Under the slogan (for a big contribution to build a free democratic Iraq ) tammuz organization had taking apart in the well sitting about the role of civil society  organizations in elections process and educating the electors .headed by the election commission on al- zawra hall in al- rasheed hotel in Wednesday 23/1/2008, the organization was represented by ( ali abed al- mahdy), (sabry karim )and (arras abed al- muneam).the relations between the commission ,civil society organizations and the future looking about them were discussed in this sitting ,then evaluation of such relation from united nations and civil society organizations historical point of view ,beside presenting a study concerning the high dependant commission of elections working , presenting the  election educational project , the role of civil society associations in the electoral process , tammuz organization had present many questions  & solutions concerning the discussed topics , one  of these suggestion was questioning about the way of listing the electors from deportees and displaced placed in side and out side Iraq , time period to achieve  the process , and how to list observatory & observation process .    

 Finally, the last statement was emphasis the following:  

             

 

1.    Continuous and developing of relations between the high dependant commission for election & civil society organizations.

2.    Supporting electoral process through contributing in electoral education.

3.    Emphasis on building capacities by the commission and keeping transparency.

4.    Importance of completion and stating legislations concerning the electoral process.
