Inaugurating Al-Huriya Center for Preparing and Habilitating Youth and Students in Al-Huriya City

Tamuz Organization for social development in cooperation with (Danida) establishment belonging to the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has opened a center for habilitating and training the youth and students in Al-Huriya City.

The main aim of the project is to educate and train the youth and students in Al-Huriya City or the awareness in civil society and the democratic building and the training on computers preliminary software’s irrespective of religious, national or political affiliation together with observing the representation of both genders and the social condition.

The courses completed in Al-Huirya Center

The center has accomplished since 15/4/2006 three training courses in which (75) participants participated of both genders and the courses included (principles of computers, office program and internet). This is with regard to computers in addition to that lectures were given in democracy and civil society were we presented these lectures a brief on the basis of creating civil society and the extent of its effect on society and how could its effect be strong far from polities.

And a series of lectures were given as follows:

1- Civil Society and its relationship with the people.

2- Organizations their creation and here were talked about the creation of women, students and youth organization.

3- What is the objective of establishing Civil Society organization.
